Each time the user installs a
copy whether original or pirated he/she is required to get authentication
from the original manufacturer either over the internet or the telephone.
Regardless of what distribution channel or the marketing channel is used to
market or distribute the product, this technology puts the manufacturer in
the final control of the entire process. The online real-time server
processes the authentication requests in real-time, 7/24 mode and helps the
manufacturer keep a vigilant eye over the entire process through a simple
console. The manufacturer can quickly detect the suspicious users and put an
immediate stop over the further installations for those users.
